A US Army Veteran and graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point, Dr. Arthur Kane joined our team of CMI radiologists in 2014.
Dr. Kane received his MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1986, completing his Fellowship at University of California in San Francisco, his Residency at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, and his Internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu. He later held senior radiology positions at both Tripler and Brooke, as well as Landshuhl Regional in Honolulu.
Before coming to CMI, Dr. Kane was a Neuroradiologist with Spectrum Medical Group at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. His professional experience also includes academic appointments as Associate Professor of Radiology at Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, and Clinical Instructor at University of California, San Francisco.
A winning researcher and lecturer, Dr. Kane has published dozens of articles and abstracts, and is most well-known for his work in vascular medicine. He is a Senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology, and has been a Reviewer with the American Journal of Neuroradiology since 2002. Dr. Kane is Certified by the American Board of Radiology, and is licensed to practice medicine in Maine and Maryland.
