Dr. Mark Baganz founded Chesapeake Medical Imaging (CMI) in 2001 to provide the highest quality radiology services available anywhere. Widely recognized as one of the area’s best radiologists, Dr. Baganz is an expert subspecialist in neuroradiology and musculoskeletal radiology.
Under the leadership of Dr. Baganz, CMI has achieved remarkable success, growing from its initial Annapolis facility to 14 locations across the region. His personal and professional ethics are reflected across the organization, which is consistently ranked as a top provider and top workplace, and has garnered extraordinary respect among peers, patients and employees.
Dr. Baganz earned his MD from Howard University College of Medicine, and completed his postgraduate training at Medical Center of Delaware and University of Maryland. He returned to Howard in 1994 where he served as Director of Neuroradiology, Assistant Professor of Radiology and Neurology, and Radiology Residency Program Associate Director.
A Board-Certified Radiologist, Dr. Baganz holds a CAQ in Neuroradiology from the American Board of Radiology. Having performed over 5,000 Virtual Colonoscopies and Cardiac CT exams, the CMI team members are among the most experienced experts in the country using these exciting emerging technologies.
Dr. Baganz maintains numerous professional memberships, including the American Society of Neuroradiology (Senior Member), American College of Radiology, American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology and American Society of Spine Radiology.
He and his wife, Laurie Salladin, support numerous charities, environmental efforts, educational institutions, and the arts.
