Dr. Rachel Lagos joined CMI in 2017.
After graduating Cum Laude from Harvard University, Dr. Lagos completed her Medical Degree as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Her studies included Radiology clerkships at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, and West Virginia University in Morgantown. She completed her Residency in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Imaging at West Virginia University Hospitals in Morgantown, and her Medical Internship at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, West Virginia.
Dr. Lagos most recently served as Chair of Radiology at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Beckley West Virginia, overseeing imaging training, peer review, and patient care issues resolultion.
An internationally noted researcher, author and lecturer, Dr. Lagos has been recognized for her lifelong commitment to excellence with numerous scholarships and awards. She is Board Certified, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology, and is currently a Commissioned Officer in the of the U.S. Navy Reserves Medical Corps.
Dr. Lagos has traveled extensively, studying in the U.K. at University of London, Edinburgh University, and Cambridge University, and living and working in Paris and Greece.
