Dr. Heidi Cooper joined the CMI team of radiologists in 2016.
Dr. Cooper received her MD from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2005, and completed both her Radiology Residency and Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. She served her Medical Internship at Georgetown University Hospital Program at INOVA Fairfax Hospital, and holds a BS from Clemson University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Before joining CMI, Dr. Cooper served as Musculoskeletal Imaging Director at Mercy Hospital in New Zealand for five years.
Dr. Cooper has been recognized with several scholarships and awards, including Clemson’s prestigious Algemon Sydney Sullivan Award for Humanitarian Service. Her research has been published in the U.S. and Europe.
Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology as well as the Medical Council of New Zealand, Dr. Cooper is licensed to practice medicine in the State of Maryland. She is a member of the Radiological Society of North America and the American College of Radiology.
